Off Grid Solar for “Load-Shedding”
A back-up power system is typically installed to curb power outages during load shedding. Batteries are charged, through a charge-controller, by either – Solar panels or Eskom (or a combination of the two). A DC / AC inverter delivers electricity to your DB board which powers your “back up load” appliances.
