Wesselton Mall

One of SolarXgen's flagship projects, the Wesselton Mall installation combines a large-scale rooftop solar array with battery energy storage. Located at the Wesselton Crossing centre in Ermelo, this 504.9 kWp system provides the mall with significant energy cost savings while protecting critical loads — cold chain, security, lifts and anchor tenants — during load shedding events. The system generates over 775 MWh annually, covering a substantial portion of the centre's daytime energy consumption.
